The balance in gameplay is maintained thanks to the different characters’ difference in height. These efforts are often easily thwarted by the parent, so players must outsmart one another in order to achieve their goals. Babies can reach for bleach or other harmful chemicals, or even try to crawl their way into an oven in order to cook themselves. Certain objects in each level will do harm, but some methods are more effective than others. The baby can be harmed through many different ways. This conflict in motivation means players will scramble across the game worlds doing their best to outwit one another, which is all made even funnier by the game’s odd-ball visual style. The baby’s mission is to die by any means necessary, and the father’s goal is the opposite: to keep the baby alive by any means necessary.
